Course Intervention Design and Development

The purpose of this project was to conduct a formative evaluation of an existing new student orientation course and present instructional and non-instructional interventions. The interventions were designed and developed to improve the course, student engagement, and course completion. Deliverables included:

  • Rapid performance analysis of the learners and the course
  • Formative course evaluation including feedback from subject matter experts
  • Selection of interventions
  • Instructional design document
  • Course prototype
  • Student communication strategy
  • Video scripts, storyboards, and prototypes
