New Student Orientation
Course Intervention Design and Development
The purpose of this project was to conduct a formative evaluation of an existing new student orientation course and present instructional and non-instructional interventions. The interventions were designed and developed to improve the course, student engagement, and course completion. Deliverables included:
- Rapid performance analysis of the learners and the course
- Formative course evaluation including feedback from subject matter experts
- Selection of interventions
- Instructional design document
- Course prototype
- Student communication strategy
- Video scripts, storyboards, and prototypes
- Study Guide
